GOLF: Tied for 2nd in the Conference with a season record of 11 & 3. Four athletics individually qualified to compete in the Nassau County Championships and it is still to be determined if South Side as a team compete will qualify. The County Championships are held in May 2020.

CROSS COUNTRY: Will compete in County Championships on Saturday, 11/2 at Bethpage State Park. Boys Varsity-10:30; Girls Varsity-10:50; Boys JV-11:15; Girls JV-11:20. $10 NY State Parking Fee

GIRLS SOCCER: Defeated Valley Stream South last night in a double overtime/penalty kick shootout. Kate Sweeney scored the first goal to tie the score 1 to 1 in regular play. Goalie Julia Cavanagh saved 3 out of the 5 VSS penalty kicks shot at her and PK goals for the Cyclones were made by Christina LiCalzi, Maddie Roberti and Emma Hospodka. GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Will play in the first round of playoffs on Monday, November 4th at South Side at 5:15 against Mepham.

GIRLS DIVING: Amy Lomuto and Kaitlin O’Sullivan will be competing in the Nassau County Diving Championships at Nassau County Aquatics Center on Wednesday, November 6th at 5pm. $10 Admission Fee at gate or purchase on GOFAN to buy electronic tickets for only $6. See how below.

FOOTBALL: team will play in the first round of playoffs on Friday, November 8th at 5pm at South Side High School. Opponent TBD.

GIRLS TENNIS: Finished their team season 3rd in Conference. In the Nassau County Individual Tournament that was held on Saturday, October 19th at Eisenhower Park. Doubles partners Kailey McCarthy and Meghan Sherlock reached the second round with a 10-1 win over Farmingdale and singles Lauren Zola, reached the quarterfinal round and earned her third All-County Award.

BOYS SOCCER: Played in the quarterfinal game against Lawrence.
